March (Madness) Blizzard!

On Monday morning, we woke up to snow on the ground, snow falling fast from the sky.... School was two hours late.


I snapped these photos from my deck around 10:20 in the morning. There was a break in the weather, then around 1 p.m., the snow hit again, this time with a little wind, so it really looked like a blizzard!

By 2 p.m., the sun was starting to come out. This morning we had a low temperature of about 18 degrees! So the snow that didn't melt yesterday is going to be around for a few days! Larry and I went up to Burlington today in our truck to get LineX bedliner installed at a business north of Cascade Mall...we walked over to Krispy Kreme, and while Larry was paying for our coffee and doughnuts, one of the employees was talking about the weather: "Lake Stevens got dumped on yesterday...they got 5 inches...." Yup, that's us! Now the snow capitol of the Northwest!
