Exercise Challenge Recap



For the second year, I participated in Amanda's challenge--thank you again! Struggling through a busy family life, back problems, the holidays, etc., I accumulated a modest 163.25 points. The 7 servings per day of fruits and vegetables was quite an achievement on the days that I reached the requirement. Other days were a little disappointing; I came very close but not quite. (And a couple days when I didn't feel well, I really "missed the boat!")

Week 1 - 20
Week 2 - 18.5
Well, not doing so great...back pain issues and feelin' down. :(
Week 3 -Total: 23.75
Lots better, despite missing the first day!
Week 4 -

12/22 - Walk/run - 5.5; stretch - .5; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
12/23 - Cardio (swim) - 3; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
12/24 - Jog/walk - 4; stretch - .5; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
12/25 - Walk - 2.512/26 - Walk/run - 5.5; strength/stretch - 1
12/27 - Walk - 1; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
Total: 32.5!! Wow!
Week 6:
12/28 - Run/walk - 8!; stretch/strength - 1; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
12/29 - Cycle - 4
12/30 - Jog - 3.5; strength/stretch - 1; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
12/31 - Walk - .5; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
01/01 - Cycle - 1; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
01/03 - Jog/Walk -2; stretch - .5/7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
Total: 26.5 (Kinda lost momentum...)
Week 7:

01/05 - Boot camp - 3; stretch - .5; 7 serv. fruit/veg. - 1
01/06 - Run/walk - 6.5; stretch - .5

Total: 20.5
