Mom's Home Project of the Year

This past spring I spent weeks with a designer from California Closets (mostly via e-mail, except for one in-home consultation) designing and choosing the style of cabinets and drawers for an office/storage area in a corner of the room we had added onto our house a few years ago. This is what the empty corner looked like before the installation:
