Fall and spring are my favorite seasons as far as colors go.
Enjoyed what we heard in meeting a while back about the brilliance of the maple trees--that is because they are "dying." Autumn is likean illustration of death, while spring is an illustration of new life (resurrection). And in between fall and spring, there's three months of winter.
Green and yellow together....
Golds, reds, and oranges....

Your pictures are so pretty! I love the colors of fall. I've really missed it here this year, we had so much rain & not enough sunshine I guess. Things are very dull colored. Even things that are still green have just faded to a dull drab green! Fall is my favorite time of year, but so short lasting. Spring is next, but it's usually very short lasting or nearly non-existent here too. Seems like so much of the time we go from Summer to winter to summer with only a hint of the other seasons. I'm feeling quite happy that the weather is quite nice this week.
