National Running Day - June 3, 2009

Heading out to the trail:

Ready to go...turn on my Garmin!

A beautiful morning on the Centennial Trail. Very warm, though!

The buttercups are really blooming in profusion right now!

Here's me at about 1-1/2 miles. Not too hot yet! (Sorry I couldn't get this photo to align properly for some reason.)

A nice little picnic area with Lake Cassidy in the background.

I did a little over four miles. It was so hot after the first mile. I started pouring water on myself as well as drinking it! When I got home, the temperature read 89 degrees! Summer came early this year to Washington State, I guess!

Wow, that seems hot for WA! Hope some of your Arizona blood helped with the heat!
