Mom update: No more crutches! After my chiropractic treatment last Tuesday, plus wearing this neophrene brace, my hip and SI joint have felt more stable, and I started using my hiking pole (walking staff) instead of the one crutch. Larry also bought a pair of trekking poles yesterday, and I'm going to try those out for walking (it's called "Nordic" walking). (Larry agreed to let me borrow them.)
Well, we had some nice weather, especially on Monday, but was back to cloudy today. Now I'd like to show off some more photos of our beautiful day last month on May 17th. After leaving Rosabella's Cafe in Bow, we drove through this cute town called Edison, and then headed north on Chuckanut Drive into the Fairview area of Bellingham. I saw a sign for a historical site called "Lairmont Mansion," and so we decided to go check it out. There were only a couple people around, and it was so quiet and peaceful. (The bathroom facilities were lovely, too!)

Lovely dining room
The grounds had many beautiful flower displays!
