Fort Ebey State Park

Larry, Rosanna and I enjoyed camping over Labor Day weekend. (Caroline went to a friend's house.) I've finally gone through all of the many photos I took and edited them. Today I'll start with some photos of the campground.

All of the campsites were beautiful. Some of the sites on the west side had views of the water. Ours was on the east side and close to a trail that led into a whole network of trails for hiking and mountain biking.

The J's said...: How pretty! Our summer went WAY to fast! Glad we did get to go on one (very short) camping trip anyway.
With a convention at the beginning and end of our summer both, it really puts a time squeeze on our weeks. Especially since we don't get out of school till towards the end of May, and start again the early-middle of August. Sticking a wedding in there too really put the lid on any other activities!; September 8, 2008 at 6:58 PM

Welcome to Our Place - Updated for Spring 2012

We live between Marysville and Granite Falls. Larry still works at Crane-Eldec in Lynnwood, but due to a change in his work schedule in February 2011, he is no longer in a van pool. Instead he bought himself a Ford Focus to use as his work car. Shirley is Mom, "chauffeur," and chief bunny caretaker. We have two daughters: Rosanna, age 20, and Caroline, age 17.We used to have two pet bunny brothers, Lucky and Thumper, who turned 9 years old on October 5. But Lucky got really sick, and had him put to sleep a few days before Christmas last year. So sad.... Thumper doesn't even miss him; he is happy as long as he is fed!

Larry and Shirley are really into running this year, qualifying for Half Fanatics in January. The Seattle Rock-n-Roll half marathon will be our fourth in 2012, and we would like to do four more, if possible, and move up in Half Fanatics!
Caroline is a junior in high school, and Rosanna continues to work at the Ralph Lauren Polo store at Seattle Premium Outlets in Tulalip.

We all continue to enjoy taking photos, and Rosanna also took a photography class at Everett Community College last spring. (We bought her a Nikon DSLR for the class). She has made some money doing photography for a local business in nearby Granite Falls last fall. And I am still using my super tiny Olympus camera for photos "on the run!"
