A few days after the windstorm on May 3, Larry and I went to the Centennial Trail on a sunny afternoon, and found evidence that park workers had been hard at work clearing the fallen trees.
On a sunny Friday morning last week I spied my irises blooming gloriously on the south side of our house.
Saturday, the 14th, was also pretty nice. We went up to downtown Arlington to see a friend sign her new children's book, and I got my very own copy!
Then Larry and I headed to the Centennial Trail for a beautiful afternoon jog (although a little on the warm side!).
